Seun Suberu created CollegePlus in a team at Google because he felt like the college admissions process was too confusing for most students to make such an important decision. CollegePlus started as a small web app and has expanded to an app and multimedia presence since then. CollegePlus now has many features (and many more to come) to accommodate the needs of the average college student.

Seun gets invited to Google 😳
Seun has decided to pursue computer science at Southern Methodist University. During his pursuits of computer science in high school he gets invited to the Google Computer Science Summer Institute in Seattle, Washington. This is where he creates the first version of CollegePlus.
Seun wins first CollegePlus grant
Seun does really well his first semester even given the challenging classes he took. In the fall semester, Seun completes his first pitch competition and wins CollegePlus $1000.
Seun builds CollegePlus mobile app
Seun creates early versions of CollegePlus for iOS and Android and publicly releases it to each platform.
Seun wins $5000 for CollegePlus!
Seun pitches at the SMU Engaged Learning Business Plan Competition and win $5000!
Seun loses in the SMU Cox Graduate Entrepreneurship Club Elevator Pitch Competition
Seun pitched CollegePlus to judges in the SMU Cox Graduate Entrepreneurship Club Elevator Pitch but does not place. He is at first discouraged, but after encouraging words from running mates and attendees, he used this loss as fuel to sharpen his business plan and pitch.
Seun wins $5000 for CollegePlus again!
Seun pitches at the SMU Engaged Learning Business Plan Competition and win $5000 again!
Seun wins $73,825 for CollegePlus!
Seun pitches at the SMU Cox Entrepreneurship Club Startup Launch Competition to a host of judges and ends up winning the first place grand prize of $73,825!
Seun is now a Software Engineer at Pinterest and is still trying to reach as many students with CollegePlus as he can
Seun believes that CollegePlus will help so many students figure out what they want to do and where they want to do it so they do not waste any time or money doing something they don't want to do somewhere they don't want to be.
